Vacation rental accommodation aggregator Roomorama.com has appointed Nina Kubik-Cheng as managing director to lead the company and spearhead its B2B strategy. Kubik-Cheng’s appointment comes just as Roomorama strengthens its foothold in the B2B space through its partnerships with Tujia and HomeAway in April and with the launch of its new B2B identity, Bridge.

Kubik-Cheng has spent over 20 years in Hong Kong, Beijing and Singapore working with companies such as Qunar, TripAdvisor and Expedia. She will be using her extensive experience in the digital travel space to ensure that the company is best positioned to capture the increasing global demand for alternative accommodations.

Under Kubik-Cheng’s leadership, Roomorama will focus on its B2B unit Bridge, which is an aggregator and supplier of non-hotel inventory worldwide. Bridge provides customized inventory feeds enabling partners to offer professionally managed villas and apartments to their users.

While the company will maintain its B2C website, it will strengthen its focus on increasing its B2B capabilities.

Federico Folcia, co-founder of Roomorama said: “Nina brings a lot of experience in the travel and the B2B space. We are confident that under her leadership, Bridge will establish itself as a key provider of alternative accommodations to enable partners to meet the strong demand for non-hotel inventory worldwide”.

Bridge is well positioned to meet the rising global demand for vacation rentals which is expected to show an annual growth rate of 10.29% resulting in a global vacation rental market of USD 169.7 billion by 2019.
