In September 28, Alibaba Group announced 2.81 billion yuan investment in the hotel information service providers Shiji Information Technology Company. Alibaba Group will hold a 15% stake after the investment, and get a board seat. According to the analysis of insiders, Alibaba wants to take advantage of the large data information of domestic high-star hotel owned by Shiji and integrate the information with Taobao Travel.
