According to aastocks news agency, Melia Hotels International intends to speed up its layout in the first-tier and second-tier cities of China and plans to open 5 new hotels at the end of 1025.

Recently, Asia Pacific’s flagship hotel, Gran Meliá Hotel, Xian which was signed to build in 2011 by Melia Hotels International now opens.  Gabriel Escarrer, Vice-Chairman and CEO of the Group, said that Melia Hotels International will open more hotels in the first-tier and second-tier cities of China, such as Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Jinan and Tianjin.(Translation by Ella)
