Recently, Dorsett Grand Chengdu, China has announced to appoint Gary Warnock as General Manager.

Gary joins Dorsett from Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he spent the past 7 years in various senior executive roles in hotels based in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Sanya and Macau. He was most recently General Manager of the Westin Resort Macau where he implemented the successful development of marketing and sales strategies resulting in greater market share, profitability and yield improvement.

In addition to his extensive hotel experience, Gary brings with him rich experience in domestic and international Sales & Marketing in leisure tourism as well as airline industries having worked with Qantas Airways Ltd in Australia, Africa and Taiwan; and was also Head of Leisure Travel for Brisbane Marketing.
