A round up of the latest movers from the travel industry in Asia

PAUL K. RICHARSON has been named as Outrigger’s new executive vice president and chief operating officer for Asia Pacific, Oceania and the Indian Ocean. Richardson moves to Outrigger from AccorHotels, where he served as chief operating officer for Greater China. He will now be based in Hawaii.

JENNIFER CHUA has been announced as the new vice president of Asia Pacific for Clicktripz.com, the online travel adverting company. Ms Chua has almost 20 years’ experience in the travel technology sector, including spells with Abacus International, Amadeus, Travelocity and Skyscanner.

WAI MUN WONG has been appointed as Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s new vice president of global supplier management for Asia Pacific. Ms Wai has 22 years’ experience and joined CWT in 2012. Since May last year she has been the company’s interim head of global supplier management for Asia Pacific.

LUKE BENBOW has become the new general manager of the Wyndham Sea Pearl Resort Phuket. He moves to Thailand from Indonesia, where he most recently served as general manager of the Mercure Resort Bali Sanur. He has also worked in China and the Maldives.

BRENDAN DALY has been appointed general manager of Yotel Singapore, the company’s first Asian property which is due to open in 2017. Daly brings 25 years’ experience to Yotel, including spells with Starwood, AccorHotels and Onyx Hospitality Group in Australia and Southeast Asia.

FRANCK RODRIGUEZ has been named general manager of the Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa. With more than 18 years of experience in the industry, Rodriguez has worked in the UK, Southeast Asia and China, most recently as director of operations for The Unique Collection Hotels & Resorts.

LARRY CHOI has become Dusit Thani Pattaya’s new executive assistant manager. Originally from Hong Kong, Choi began his career with Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket as guest relations officer and has since risen through the ranks, becoming director of revenue strategy & profitability at the Pattaya hotel.
