Mr. Alfred Gao has been officially appointed as General Manager of JW Marriott Hotel Zhejiang Anji for general management and operation of the hotel, an iconic brand of Marriott International.

The hotel is located at the Phoenix International Golf Course, marking the first ever international brand hotel in Anji, Zhejiang province and the first resort of JW Marriott brand in Greater China. It has 228 elegant, luxurious and well-equipped rooms and suites and is only 5 minutes’ drive to the first Hello Kitty Theme Park in China and 15 minutes’ drive to the China Big Bamboo Sea.

An international hotelier with more than 25 years’ experience, he brings strong business savvy and deep knowledge of hotel management, providing leadership to this iconic hotel. With solid hotel operations background, Alfred will assume his new role leading the operating performance and continue delivering the Marriott Culture. Prior to his current position, he was the General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Central. Mr. Gao was awarded as 2013 Marriott International Courtyard Brand Diamond General Manager and General Manager of the Year of 2014 Marriott International Courtyard Brand Diamond General Manager.

Mr. Gao pays great attention to the balance between work and life. He is a fan of gym, sports, reading and travelling.
