On 3rd April, when she checked in the Yitel Hotel of Jiuxianqiao north road Wangjing 798 of Chaoyang district, she was followed and forcibly dragged by an unknown male. Her yell attracted the stalker gradually and the suspect escaped from the hotel finally. Last night the police of Chaoyang district confirmed and announced they are investigating this incident. The hotel declared that they have the corresponding responsibility to ascertain the truth and expect get in touch with the involved female. At about 10 pm last night, Wanwan recalled the incident to Beijing News reporter on the phone that she booked this hotel through an on-line travel agency and this hotel with pretty good commend online is regarded as a premium hotel. She came to Beijing for business and prepared to travel meanwhile and she checked in the hotel at noon on April 1st. She backed to the hotel around 23 pm on April 3rd after having dinner with friends alone. Her room was in the fourth floor and the elevator was operated with room card. When she looked for her card with other 3 people in the elevator, someone pressed the fourth floor. After others left, a strange man tried to chat her up and asked which room she was in. Unfortunately, she was dragged again by the man. At this moment, a female guest passing by figured out the strange scene and saved her. According to the CCTV, the incident lasted about 3 minutes and 30 seconds and the suspect looks young wearing black leather coat, blue jeans. After the man fled, the hotel manager and local police arrived at the scene, and then the girl and the staff was questioned by the police. The Beijing police responded through Weibo that they have informed related institutions to verify the matter and they would deal with it lawfully. The Yitel Hotel also released a statement on official Weibo: The Homeinn Hotel Group regard this occurrence seriously and immediately followed up the investigation to resolve the case.
