Mr. Bernhard Wimmer joined Midtown Shangri-La, Hangzhou in May 2015 and is looking forward to be part of the city and an exciting opening of the hotel in March 12, 2016.

　　Mr. Bernhard Wimmer is a hotelier executive with 30 years of experience in the hotel industry. Bernhard joined the hospitality industry in 1981 and worked throughout his journey with several luxury grand hotels and luxury brands such as Kempinski, Ritz-Carlton, Shangri-La and Rosewood in Germany, Scotland, Switzerland, Dubai, Philippines, Malaysia, North America and China.

　　Having worked with Shangri-La hotels and resorts for more than 10 years, Mr. Wimmer was General Manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Xian and part of the opening team of the China World Summit Wing, Beijing as well as the Valley Wing at Shangri-La Hotel Beijing and Qingdao.
