JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its global, luxury collection with the opening of the 454-room JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing in China. Featuring a sophisticated elegant and chic style, this hotel is situated in the Chongbin Poly International Plaza, one of the tallest skyscrapers in Chongqing, a municipality of China as well as an economic hub in the western region.

Marriott International manages this iconic hotel as part of a long-term relationship with the building’s owner Chongqing Guest House Co., Limited. This collaboration marks a major milestone in the development of Chongqing’s hospitality industry. From 1956 until today’s opening of the new JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing, ownership operated the Chongqing Guest House, historically regarded as the pioneer of high-end hotels in the city. Occupying the former Chongqing Guest House space, the JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing will carry the torch of this vision, continuing to bring refined luxury hotel experiences to Chongqing.

The JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing is located in the Yuzhong District of the renowned Jiefangbei area which is dubbed as the heart of Chongqing for business, consumer and entertainment. It is within walking distance to the city’s most exciting dinning, shopping and nightlife facilities.
