Questex Hospitality + Travel today announced it has teamed up with China-based Centre of Asia Hotel Forum (AHF).

Questex Hospitality + Travel, the largest multinational media, event and e-commerce company serving the global hospitality and travel industry, today announced it has teamed up with China-based Centre of Asia Hotel Forum (AHF), a leading hotel investment event organizer focused on the Chinese market, to introduce the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) Summit Series in China.

The AHF International Hotel Investment Summit, one of AHF’s iconic events, will join the Questex IHIF portfolio next year, with the first cobranded event to be held in Beijing in September 2015. The summit features prescheduled appointments, networking events and workshops and clinics designed to connect Chinese hotel owners and developers with investment and legal experts. It attracted over 600 delegates this year, including investors, owners, developers, operators, designers and suppliers.

AHF Chief Executive Officer Henry Chen, who founded the company in 2006, characterized the cobranding agreement as a “win-win,” adding: “AHF is partnering with Questex Hospitality + Travel because it is one of the most experienced and reputable conference companies in the world focused on lodging and travel. AHF played an important role in the establishment and operation of Hospitality Asset Managers Association China (HANA), which Chen serves as a member of the board of directors.

The annual AHF Asia Hotel Awards are presented at the AHF International Hotel Investment Summit. As part of the agreement, Questex will help promote the awards through its IHIF Investment News online newsletter and Hotel Management magazine. Questex also will become AHF’s preferred partner for organizing tours for Chinese investors wishing to visit North America.
