Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently promoted Chuck Powell to the new position of Senior Vice President of Operations.

Atlanta-based Hotel Equities (HE) recently promoted Chuck Powell to the new position of Senior Vice President of Operations.

To manage Hotel Equities' rapid growth, Mr. Powell's responsibilities include oversight of operations, human resources and revenue generation efforts for the firm. He works closely with the Hotel Equities' executive team to ensure a consistent approach to implementation, improvement and results. He reports directly to Brad Rahinsky, Hotel Equities' President and Chief Operating Officer.

"Chuck's strategic approach is to elevate our organization's processes and procedures in all disciplines, including food and beverage, "said Mr. Rahinsky. "He has made a significant and measurable impact on our firm. He models and inspires success with his team across multiple brands to deliver memorable hospitality to our guests and works effectively with our investors."

Mr. Powell joined Hotel Equities from Noble Investment Group/Interstate Hotels where he served as Vice President of Operations over a diverse, full service portfolio. An award-winning General Manager during the early days of his career, he also held positions in hotel sales and marketing before moving into executive positions with both Embassy Suites and Hilton Hotels. He brings more than 25 years of hospitality experience to his current post.

Mr. Powell holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Paul Smith University. He currently resides in Atlanta.
