Kempinski Hotel Huizhou has announced the appointment of Mr. Lars Pursche as General Manager of the hotel.

Kempinski Hotel Huizhou has announced the appointment of Mr. Lars Pursche as General Manager of the hotel. He will be fully in charge of the management and operation of this well known luxurious hotel.

Mr. Pursche was born in Dresden, Germany, he joined Kempinski Hotel Group in 2011, and worked as Director of Sales & Marketing at Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich. Before joining Kempinski Hotel Huizhou, he worked at Kempinski Hotel Yixing, where he has held the position of Executive Assistant Manager since August 2013, and successfully enhanced the performance of the hotel operation and lead the team from Good to Best.

With almost 20 years of hotel working experience, where operational positions also brought him to Zurich and San Francisco, he started in the hotel business from scratch. Lars moved to Sales in 2001, since then he has gained solid Sales and Marketing experience and skills in several other well-established hotel groups such as Hyatt, Swissôtel and Starwood (Le Méridien).

Mr. Pursche’s expertise and knowledge with hotel operations, coupled with his in-depth knowledge of European Flair will be valuable assets to Kempinski Hotel Huizhou. We are confident, that with his strong Sales & Marketing background combined with his demonstrated leadership, he will drive the hotel’s performance further and secure the property's ranking at the top of the city's hotel market. Besides his mother language German, he also speaks fluent English.
