The House Collective brand，which is a group of individual hotels was launched by Swire Hotels.

　　Swire Hotels has launched The House Collective brand, which brings together it's "House" hotels in a single portfolio.

　　According to Travel Daily Asia, The House Collective is a group of individual hotels: The 117-studio Upper House Hong Kong, the 99-studio Opposite House Beijing and The Temple House Chengdu (China), which is a 100-studio hotel with 49 residences.

　　Swire Hotels limits its activity to managing hotels in developments owned by its parent, property developer Swire Properties, according to Forbes. The group is in turn is part of John Swire & Sons, Ltd., a U.K.-based global conglomerate.

　　The name aims to suggest a collection of residences or homes with a strong design collaboration and intent.

　　Brian Williams, managing director of Swire Hotels, told TDA: "Our goal is to create a series of highly individualised hotels which houses a range of dynamic restaurants and uniquely designed facilities. They are specially designed for seasoned travellers who seek a different, intimate and personalised experience."

　　Later this year Swire plans to open a Miami outpost, under its East flag (which has locations in Beijing and Hong Kong).

　　According to Forbes, the Miami East property is part of a $1.05 billion multiuse development, Brickell City Centre, and will have 263 rooms and suites, plus 89 serviced apartments that can be rented on a nightly basis as well as long-term. Like the other House and East hotels, it will be represented by Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

　　Swire Hotels also offers collection of locally inspired hotels in the UK: the first Chapter Hotel, The Montpellier Chapter, opened in Cheltenham in 2010 and was followed by The Magdalen Chapter in Exeter.

　　Swire Hotels Restaurant division was set up in 2013 to manage the company's stand-alone restaurant operations.
