Hyatt has opened a new luxury resort-style hotel in the Chinese port city of Qingdao. Located on the beachfront in the city’s Laoshan district, the Hyatt Regency Qingdao 439 rooms, all with floor-to-ceiling windows and seaviews. All rooms include a 42-inch LED flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi, while the 168m² Presidential Suite features a large terrace and the 420m² Chairman Suite has its own kitchen, bar, gym, massage room and rooftop terrace. A series of club rooms also have access to the Regency Club, with a boardroom and outdoor terrace. “As the only upscale beachfront hotel in northern China, our urban resort truly offers the best of city convenience and resort-style indulgence. We look forward to bringing Hyatt’s world-class dining, hospitality and amenities to the beautiful beach city of Qingdao,” said the hotel’s general manager, Anthony Ha. Facilities at the Hyatt Regency Qingdao include a spa, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, fitness centre and 1,840m² of meeting and event space.
