　　The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing and JW Marriott Hotel Beijing recently announced the appointment of Radu Cernia as Hotel Manager.

　　Bringing a wealth of experience and skills to this important leadership position, Cernia will assist Managing Director David Wilson in overseeing the day-to-day operations of both hotels, ensuring the implementation of the unique services for which The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing and JW Marriott Hotel Beijing are known.

The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing is a place not only defined by sophisticated style and luxurious facilities but also able to deliver unparalleled service executed by all employees," said Cernia.

　　Originally from Romania, Cernia graduated from the Business and Commercial Institute. With an international career spanning more than 15 years, he has held variety of managerial positions at The Ritz-Carlton Hotels and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts in several countries including Japan, Indonesia, the US and the United Arab Emirates.

　　Cernia joined The Ritz-Carlton Company in 1998, and prior to taking on his new role, he held the position of executive assistant manager, culinary/food and beverage of The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, where he led a team of 120 managing nine outlets and delivered a successful business growth model. He was recognized as an outstanding leader in many Ritz-Carlton Hotels he has worked for, and he was also the member of The Ritz-Carlton Advisory Board for Food and Beverage in Southeast Asia from 2007 to 2010.
