　　Recently, Starwood China appointed Kevin Qin as the General Manager of Le Mérdien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa.

　　A local hotelier, Kevin comes to us with over 18 years within the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Starwood, Kevin held various General Manager positions and a range of diverse and senior leadership roles at Sofitel & Novotel Hotels as well as Grand Mercure hotels. Since 2009 Kevin was the General Manager at Sofitel Zhongshan Golf Nanjing and after 2 years of outstanding performance, Kevin took over the dual role as General Manager in Sofitel Galaxy Nanjing, overseeing the operations of the two hotels as well as handing major renovation project at the Galaxy Hotel. In 2010, Kevin was awarded as the "Essence of Plaisir" Best General Manager in Sofitel Worldwide. As an ambassador hotelier professional, Kevin has gained valuable leadership and communication skills, insight to luxury hospitality in local market as well as a clear objective for hotel performance.
