Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. officially announced Mr. Anthony Cheng as General Manager of The Westin Guangzhou, responsible for the hotel operations and business. A native Singaporean, Anthony has more than 30 years of working in international branded hotel with special focus in sales, brand, consumer and marketing development. Mr. Cheng’s hotel career started in Singapore in the early eighties and joined ITT Sheraton Corporation in 1994 as Regional Director of Sales. In 2004, Mr. Cheng arrived in China as Regional Director of Sales, China for Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts, later he elected to direct his career back to hotel operation and opened Le Meridien She Shan, Shanghai before moving on to Sheraton Sanya Resort. Prior to his current role, Mr. Cheng was the General Manager of Sheraton Dameisha Resort. Anthony likes soft adventure, sailing, working out in the gym and holiday in less travelled destinations in China.（CN） |
