HANGZHOU, CHINA (2 May 2013) - Hyatt Regency Hangzhou is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Foxwell as its new general manager, effective from 22 April 2013. Mark is an Australian with nearly 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He graduated from Flinders University in Adelaide and commenced his career with Hyatt in 1996 at Hyatt Regency Adelaide, Australia. He subsequently held positions at Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove and Grand Hyatt Melbourne, before moving to Hyatt International Asia Pacific in 2005, based in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Hyatt Regency Hangzhou, Mark was Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms at Park Hyatt Tokyo and General Manager at Hyatt Regency Osaka, where he gained solid industry experience. In the spirit of Hyatt ‘ownership’, that is each employee being regarded as an ‘owner’ of the hotel, Mark will continue to lead the team to deliver authentic hospitality to guests, while maintaining Hyatt Regency Hangzhou’s position as the leading hotel in the city and Zhejiang. |
