　　TIANJIN, CHINA—Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside will open its doors to guests on April 27, here. This is Banyan Tree’s first luxury hotel in Northern China and the group’s tenth property in the country.

　　All 159 guestrooms draw design inspiration from the muted tones and refined aesthetic of traditional Chinese ink paintings, and is designed for rest and relaxation, according to the company. A variety of room types are available, including the signature Deluxe Riverside Retreat, Premier Riverside Retreat and Banyan Tree Suite, most of which feature large French windows overlooking the river.

　　The 1000 sq.ft. spa is styled as a tropical garden retreat. It includes three double royal rooms with double rainmist facilities, one double deluxe room, five single deluxe rooms, one facial room, a beauty salon with two foot massage rooms and a relaxation area. There is also a gymnasium, hot and warm dip pools and a 25 m swimming pool.

　　The hotel also offers five f&b outlets: The Grill, River Café; Bai Yun, Jin Bar and the Lobby Lounge. The River Café and the Grill use assorted seasonal home-grown produce from Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside’s “Happy Farm.”
