　　Now that its ownership woes are done and Eden Roc has become a part of the Destination Hotels & Resorts, we're anticipating life to go much more smoothly from now on. And it's sure to happen at a resort where there are three pools to choose from (including an adults-only option). Yes, the ocean is right there, but if you're not a fan of sand, you've got the right place.

　　The Colonnade Hotel, Boston

　　We like the Roof Top Pool, Boston's only one of its kind, especially because you don't have to be a guest to enjoy it--although the hours are shortened for those visitors. For people staying at the hotel, access to the swimming pool is complimentary and they receive access preference on the weekend. The public can use the facilities Mon-Fri for $50 per person for a full day and $25 per person from 3:00 PM until close. They suggest calling 617-425-3408 before you arrival to check availability.

　　The pool-scene is coming along, well, swimmingly in England. A few hotels have brought in pools for guests to enjoy the few sunbathable months of the year, and we think the Brits are grateful. When they're heated? Even better, which is the case for this Knightsbridge spot, which is quite dramatic with its Roman pillars and arches. It's used year-round thanks to the retractable roof, too, so Hyde Park and Harrods are on full display when the weather cooperates and the top comes down. Let's not even get into the movies shown poolside and even synchronized swimming classes! The downside is the lack of cocktails at the bar, but hey, that's what flasks are for. Besides at £45 ($66) to get in for non-guests, we're sure you'll keep mum about both secrets.

　　The Riverwalk is a popular nearly year-round, but how great would it be for a cool dip after a walk up and down the restaurant and shop laden area?You can do that at the family-friendly, all-suite, Embassy which is steps away from the Riverwalk entrance. The famiy-friendly pool has a fab position on the rooftop. Even better? The manager's free daily cocktails and snack hour, where you can tortilla chips, salsa and Chardonnay before heading upstairs and claiming a sun lounger.
