Hilton Worldwide recently announced the appointment of Mr. Sandy Murray as General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing.

　　Hilton Worldwide recently announced the appointment of Mr. Sandy Murray as General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing. Mr. Sandy Murray will report to Mr. David Kelly, Regional General Manager China North, Hilton Worldwide, and will be responsible for the daily management and operation of DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing. Mr. Murray joins Hilton Worldwide from Hilton Adelaide, Australia, where he held the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Mr. Sandy Murray will be based in Beijing and begin his position on 22 September.

　　Mr. David Kelly said, “Sandy has built a 30+ years career in hospitality with Hilton Worldwide. With his great expertise, vision, and passion in the industry, he will lead the team of DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing to continually provide a higher level of the DoubleTree’s warm and caring service to both the business and leisure.”

　　Mr. Murray is excited to be part of the vibrant city of Beijing, managing Doubletree by Hilton Beijing. “Your environment shapes you positively or negatively – from my arrival in this city I feel the energy and culture of a truly International city, I look forward to managing this team to achieve their full potential,” Mr. Murray said.

　　Mr. Murray brings 30+ years of experience to his new role at Hilton Worldwide. In his former role at DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang, he was the General Manger.

　　Prior to DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang, Mr. Murray has steered the team since the hotel’s pre-opening stage. Mr. Murray has also held positions with Hilton properties in the UK, South Korea, Sri Lanka, the UAE and India. Mr. Murray received a diploma of Hotel Management from Le Cordon Bleu, Adelaide, Australia.
