Mr. Christophe Lajus has been appointed as General Manager of InterContinental Shanghai Expo and Area General Manager in IHG recently.

　　Mr. Christophe Lajus has been appointed as General Manager of InterContinental Shanghai Expo and Area General Manager in IHG recently. Prior to this appointment, he was General Manager of Crowne Plaza Shanghai Fudan and Area General Manager of Crowne Plaza Hotels in Shanghai.

　　As a 28 year industry veteran, Mr.Christophe Lajus has extensive hotel management experience in Spain, Morocco, Caribbean Islands, Indonesia, Thailand and China. He has spent the 13 years of his General Manager career working at IHG in China; from Holiday Inn WuHan City Center in 2000, Holiday Inn YaLong Bay in 2002, to Crowne Plaza Shanghai Fudan in 2006.

　　Mr.Christophe Lajus also was promoted in 2008 to Area General Manager and took the responsibility for the general operation of Crowne Plaza Hotels in Shanghai. In 2011, he was awarded by the city of Shanghai “The Magnolia Award”, a rare honor given to foreigners, recognizing his efforts on social responsibility as well as his contributions to the economic development of Shanghai in the past years.
