　　Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced that Lars van der Most has been appointed general manager of Le Méridien Yixing. The Dutch national, fluent in English, French and German, began his hotel career at Sheraton Shengyang Hotel in 2003.

　　He has since built up a wealth of experience in senior management positions with leading hotel chains all over the world, and was previously assistant executive manager of the Westin Bund Center Shanghai.
