Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality has announced the appointment of Mr. David Ying as the General Manager of MGM Grand Sanya.

　　Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality has announced the appointment of Mr. David Ying as the General Manager of MGM Grand Sanya. Mr. Ying will be the primary strategic leader of the resort with responsibilities for all aspects of the operation.

　　Mr. David Ying brings a wealth of hospitality experience with cross-culture international expertise to MGM Grand Sanya, notably from his career managing hotels throughout China and the Asia Pacific Region for Hyatt Hotel Group for over 30 years. His career path has taken him to Hong Kong, Korea, Hawaii, Saipan, Guam, Hangzhou and other countries. Prior to joining MGM Grand Sanya, Mr. Ying served as the General Manager for Hotel Massenet of Sinan Mansions.

　　Mr. Ying’s unique perspective on hotel management and impeccable business acumen has earned him the “IHFO Platinum Award – 30-year service lifetime achievement award” by the International Hotel Forum Organization in 2008. This lifetime achievement yet again honored Mr. Ying and his extraordinary leadership in luxury hospitality.

　　Furthermore, Mr. Ying dedicates himself to education and charitable work; during his time in Hangzhou and Saipan, Mr. Ying served as the Vice President of Hangzhou Charity Foundation and was a member of the Education Board of Saipan.
