　　Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Hartmut Schaller as the hotel’s new General Manager as of October 28, 2013.

　　Hartmut Schaller has held senior management roles within the hotel industry for more than 25 years and has extensive experience for 10 years as General Manager in China.

　　During his time in China, he has been responsible for hotel openings at Marriott & Renaissance hotels in Tianjin, Shanghai and Hangzhou and more recently with Sofitel Shenyang Lido, overlooking the re-branding of the former Sheraton Shenyang as the General Manager.

　　During his career, he has amassed a wealth of experiences around the world with management positions at the highest rated hotels in Germany, England, Gibraltar, Austria and Pakistan. In joining Accor`s upscale Pullman Hotels & Resorts at the flagship Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa, Schaller will continue leading the team and further extend the resort`s leading position in Lijiang, Yunnan Provence.
