Schroeder, currently CEO of Jin Jiang International Hotel Management, will take over a privatised PPHG, a wholly-owned hotel subsidiary of Singapore-listed UOL Group.

　　Bernold Schroeder will join Singapore-based Pan Pacific Hotels Group on January 2, replacing Patrick Imbardelli who has resigned after more than five years with the company. Schroeder, currently CEO of Jin Jiang International Hotel Management, will take over a privatised PPHG, a wholly-owned hotel subsidiary of Singapore-listed UOL Group, which now owns and/or manages more than 30 hotels, resorts and serviced suites across Asia, Oceania and North America under two brands, Pan Pacific and Parkroyal.

　　It marks his return to Singapore where Schroeder had spent 14 years before Jin Jiang with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts in charge of business development and hotel operations. Imbardelli said he had given notice in July, around the time PPHG was completing its privatisation. His official last day with the company was November 30. He said the timing was right for him to move on after the privatisation and let “a young man take the group to the next level in terms of operations, owners relations, etc”.
