Didi Chuxing, China's mobile transportation platform, announced that it opened its official Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) headquarters in Melbourne, the company said in a statement sent to the Global Times on Tuesday. Didi started operations in Australia in May. The ANZ team, run by more than 80% local management and technology professionals, will lead Didi's expansion in customized ride-sharing and smart transportation services throughout the region, the statement said.
