Yngvar Stray has been appointed General Manager at Harbour Grand Kowloon, Hong Kong (SAR)

　　A veteran Norwegian-born hotelier, Mr. Stray brings with him 30 years of experience within the hospitality industry with extensive experience in operating international five star luxury and life style hotels in gateway cities in Asia. Mr. Stray’s expertise is founded within Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing and Hotel operation. Mr Stray’s appointment as General Manager started in 2002 with Sheraton Shenyang Lido Hotel and subsequently in W Seoul Walkerhill.

　　In 2007, he joined The St. Regis Singapore where he took the lead in hosting President Hu Jintao, and later re-joining The St. Regis Beijing to welcome President Obama in late 2009. Prior to joining Harbour Grand Kowloon, he was the General Manager of Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund.
