InterContinental Hangzhou has appointed Mr. Frankson Lee as new general manager of its hotel located at No. 2 East Jiefang Road, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

(Hangzhou, August 4 2014)  – InterContinental Hangzhou has named Mr. Frankson Lee, general manager of its 384-rooms hotel located at No. 2 East Jiefang Road, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province.

Mr. Lee brings along with him a wealth of hospitality operation and management experience.  He began his career in the industry 19 years ago as trainee in Le Meridien Singapore. He then proceeded to worked with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, participated in the opening of its 2 flagship hotels in Chengdu and Tokyo. In 2009, he joined Mandarin Oriental Sanya, the group’s first property in mainland China as Hotel Manager. He joined InterContinental Hotels Group in 2010, as Resident Manager at the iconic InterContinental Hong Kong, and after which got his first postins as General Manager at the InterContinental Beijing Financial Street in 2012. Prior to joining InterContinental Hangzhou, he worked in InterContinental One Thousand Island Lake Resort as General Manager.

With a strong background in operations, his expertise lies in providing effective leadership in the areas of operations, and people management. Mr. Lee will be responsible for the entire hotel operations at InterContinental Hangzhou and lead the hotel to continually delight guests.
