Travelers who book flights anywhere in the United States on Kayak now have access to automated flight monitoring and compensation assistance from Service. Service is a startup that files claims with airlines on behalf of travelers when flights are delayed or cancelled. For facilitated bookings delayed more than 90 minutes, Service will prompt Kayak to message travelers and suggest Service to pursue compensation. Service will only have access to anonymous flight details - no personal information about the traveler will be shared. Service, founded in 2015, says it saves the average consumer more than $300 a year.
